New Month, New Habbit

That shift in season is upon us, the autumn equinox has just passed, the mornings are (mostly) cool and crisp, the fall foliage is making its lovely appearance, and the kids are back in school with their new routines in full swing!
The leaves are falling, and all of that fall yard work is piling up. Don’t forget to prioritize your own wellness this autumn. 
Are you really great at keeping up with your kids' school schedules, sports, and extracurricular activities?
Are you so busy tending to your yard and garden with the fall yard work?
Back strains are common in the fall during yard cleanup. Repetitive motions, such as raking leaves or pulling weeds, require repeated bending and twisting, which can strain back muscles and ligaments. 
Many people use improper form when lifting heavy bags of leaves or other materials by bending at the waist; this action puts excessive pressure on the lower back, increasing the risk of a strain. Remember to always lift heavy bags with your legs, not by bending at the waist.
